I’m a software engineer who enjoys writing Go.

I started using Go in 2012 after a coworker at Rackspace introduced it to me. My first commit to Go in 2012 added the ability to parse comments in DOCTYPE in the encoding/xml library. I’ve made some more commits since, but recently I focus more on my own projects.

I run an app called Go Report Card, which was created by my friend Herman and me during a global Go hackathon called Gopher Gala.

I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Georgia Tech’s OMSCS program and expect to graduate in 2021 with a specialization in Computing Systems.

My hobbies include hiking, reading, mechanical watches, and the Japanese language and culture (よろしくお願いします).
